What you need:

Just some gouache paints, brushes, paper, and a little time for yourself.
You will need basic colors: white, vermillion red, ultramarine blue, lemon yellow, and convenience colors like burnt umber and burnt Sienna. Gold paint if you have some.
A flat and a round synthetic brush.
Any paper you like!

No fancy tools. No complicated techniques.
You can follow along with whatever you already have.
