This Studio Project is your invitation to slow down, enjoy the process, and make finished mixed-media artworks that feel complete.
We’ll work side by side in the studio, as if you’re right here with me. You’ll see every step, every choice, and the whole creative process as we build three expressive crow pieces from start to finish.
You’ll discover how to bring ideas, color, and materials together into artwork you’ll be proud to display.
We’ll make three unique crow artworks:
1.Gouache Crow – bold contrast and expressive simplicity
2.Collage Crow – layers of paper, texture, and composition
3.Mixed-Media Crow – paint, collage, stencils, and more
Each project includes step-by-step videos filmed in real-time so you can follow along without rushing. You’ll learn how to make creative decisions, adjust when things don’t go as planned, and complete your art with a cohesive and personal look.
You can work on canvas board, sturdy cardboard, watercolor paper, or oil paper, something that can handle layers.
Use what you already have: acrylics, gouache, collage paper, stencils, pencils, markers, ink, brushes, gel medium, or glue.
You don’t need every supply on earth, but you’ll need a small range of materials to build texture and depth.
We’re here to play, experiment, and make the most of what’s on your table.
•How to move from loose ideas to a finished artwork
•How to build layers confidently using different materials
•How to compose and balance your painting
•How to use texture and contrast to create atmosphere
•How to finish a piece that feels complete and ready to hang
