We’re using gouache for all five tutorials, but you can follow along with any opaque paint you already have on hand.
You'll need the basic colors: lemon yellow, magenta, cyan blue, vermillion red, ultramarine blue, black, and white, as well as the convenience colors: burnt umber, burnt sienna, and yellow ochre.
Flat and round synthetic brushes are enough.
I'm painting in a square sketchbook; feel free to use any paper you like for these projects.
