Fruit & Veggie Party

A 30-day sketchbook journey in gouache, watercolor, collage & mixed media

Join me this March for a deliciously colorful art journey, one fruit or vegetable per day, explored through gouache, watercolor, acrylic ink, oil pastel, collage, crayons, and more.

Enrollment now open – starts March 1st

Would you like to fill your sketchbook with bold, joyful colors this March?

Join me for a creative celebration of fruits and vegetables, an invitation to slow down, observe closely, and paint the everyday beauty we often overlook.

Each day, we’ll meet one fruit or vegetable.

You’ll discover not just how to paint them, but how to see them differently.
This is not just a painting class. It’s a daily creative ritual.

A delicious rhythm for your sketchbook.

Ready to paint with us this March?

What students say about the Party format

(This is my 8th Party course, students keep coming back for a reason!)

This course is one of the many wonderfull artparties that are available at this artschool. A very fun and learning way to explore different styles and materials. Cecile is a wonderfull artist and teacher and l enjoyed everey lesson so much!

I love Cecile's classes and this was no exception. I liked the variety of mediums and subjects in the Sea Life Party. Her demonstrations are clear and concise. I look forward to more classes from Cecile

Cecile's parties are one of the best ways to really enjoy a daily art practice. She starts you off with a lovely French greeting and a short demonstration, and then is available for feedback in the Community. So fun!!

Cecile Yadro

Hi, I’m Cécile, a French artist who loves color, mixed media, and gouache.

Art should bring joy, not stress. That’s why I create playful, step-by-step tutorials that help beginners explore, experiment, and fill their sketchbooks with confidence.

Over the past six years, more than 25,000 students have joined my courses and discovered that you don’t need to know all the rules to start creating. With the supplies you already have and a spirit of curiosity, you can express yourself and enjoy the process.

My mission is to help you grow as an artist while having fun along the way.

You’ll see the pears, the pineapple, the garlic on black paper, the rainbow chard, the sliced fruits, the playful lineups, everything.
But if you prefer to discover each fruit and vegetable day by day, and keep the surprise alive…
You might want to skip the video and join us with fresh eyes.

Both ways are perfect. Just follow your instinct.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

We’ll be working with gouache, watercolor, acrylic inks, crayons, collage, acrylic markers, and oil pastels. But you do not need to own them all.  In every lesson, I give you options and suggestions for alternative materials. You can easily follow along with what you already have. For example, if I use oil pastels, you might use crayons or colored pencils. This class is not about the “right” supplies. It’s about curiosity, rhythm, and making art with what’s at hand.

Yes. Absolutely. You don’t need any experience with gouache or mixed media to enjoy this class. Each lesson is short and approachable, and I always explain what I’m doing in a clear and encouraging way. You can follow at your own pace.

No problem at all! All live painting sessions (March 9, 20, and 30) will be recorded, and you’ll receive the replays the day after.  You can watch them anytime that works for you.

Yes. Once you join, the lessons are yours forever.  You can go at your own pace. Some people follow every day in March, others do one lesson a week, and that’s fine too.

If you’d like to see the full content ahead of time, you’re very welcome to watch the YouTube sketchbook tour I’ll be releasing before the class starts.  But if you’d prefer to be surprised and discover a new fruit or veggie each day… You might want to wait! Both ways are perfec, just follow your own creative instinct.
