Joyful Sketchbook Party — Fall Edition

30 days of playful fall sketchbook practice

Join Joyful Sketchbook Party: Fall Edition, a beginner-friendly online sketchbook class designed to help you start pages more easily, enjoy color, and grow your creative confidence one lesson at a time.

See something you love. Turn it into a sketchbook page that’s yours.

Fall Party is 30 playful projects designed to help you go from “I love that, but how would I draw it?” to making your own choices about what to keep, simplify, change, and play with.

We’ll use autumn as our playground: colorful trees, rainy days, animals, pumpkins, landscapes, and more. I’ll show you how I approach each subject, and little by little you’ll build your own repertoire of ways to turn what you see into a page.

27 fall-inspired sketchbook projects
3 live sessions
A new project every day, beginning September 23, 2026
A playful mix of watercolor, gouache, pencils, crayons, acrylic markers, collage, and more

We’ll sketch rainy days, pumpkins, animals, autumn landscapes, changing leaves, cozy clothes, Halloween and plenty of unexpected subjects along the way.

Start your joyful sketchbook practice

Thirty days. One page at a time. No perfect skills required. No perfect supplies either.
Just your sketchbook, a few colors, and the willingness to show up.  Everything is guided. Everything is simple. You can move at your own pace and rewatch anytime.

This is more than 30 fall tutorials

The fall subjects give us somewhere fun to start. But along the way, you’ll also practice something more useful: how to look at a reference and decide what to do with it.

We’ll simplify shapes, change colors, leave things out, combine materials, play with texture, and sometimes take the reference somewhere completely different.

I’ll show you where to start.
Then I’ll help you make the page yours.

30 projects. One page at a time.

You don’t need perfect drawing skills, a huge collection of supplies, or a style figured out before you begin.  Some projects are simple. Others give us more room to layer, experiment, and play.

Some days we’ll use just a pen. Other days we might combine watercolor, pencils, acrylic markers, gouache, crayons, or collage.

You can follow me closely when you need guidance, and make different choices when you feel ready.

Little by little, you’ll get more comfortable deciding what to simplify, which colors to use, what materials will help, and when a page feels finished.
